NMD helps BCDS Students Save on Holiday Gifts The Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry (NMD) is offering Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (BCDS) students a chance to save on unique, dental-themed holiday gifts this season with an exclusive offer. Between Monday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 18, BCDS students may show their ID at NMD’s Museum Shop during regular museum hours to receive a 15% discount on merchandise. NMD’s collection of merchandise includes a variety of dental-themed items, including t-shirts, ties, books, and children’s items, perfect for dental enthusiasts of any age. You may preview items at any time online at www.dentalmuseum.org. The special offer for BCDS students is valid for in-store purchases only and will not be honored for phone or online sales. The NMD is located at 31 S. Greene St., on the corner of Greene and Lombard streets. The Museum Shop is located on the first floor and is open during regular museum hours: Wednesday-Saturday (10 a.m.- 4 p.m.) and Sunday (1-4 p.m.). Grants CRTP: Students interested in applying for the NIH Clinical Research Training Program need to submit an application by the Jan. 15 deadline. The CRTP offers a $27,000/year stipend, clinical teaching rounds, seminar and journal clubs, and the opportunity to learn and experience clinical research in a challenging and rewarding atmosphere. HHMI-NIH: The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and the NIH Research Scholars Program is still accepting applications.
